This compensation will be given to those farmers whose crops have been affected by heavy rains. Crop affected is 33 percent or more. Paddy sowing is more in this area. The farmers have thanked the state government for the help. Farmers say that this step of the state government has worked to heal the wounds of the farmers.

Crop survey will be done to give compensation
To give compensation to the farmers, the survey of the crop will also be done at the departmental level. Instructions have been issued from the state government level that the revenue and agriculture departments will work together to assess crop damage caused by unseasonal heavy rains. If the crop has already been surveyed regarding insurance, then additional evaluation will be done. It is the endeavor of the state government that no farmer should be deprived of getting the right of compensation.

More than 6 lakh hectares of crop was damaged
